What is a Virtual Desktop Computer?
In short, it is a low power (5 watts avg.) microcomputer without a hard drive (also known as a Thin Client). The hard drive is the clunky, failing, and often loud antique technology that attempts to store your important documents and irreplacable files.
A Virtual Desktop Computer is a complete computer but better—liberating you from the mundane tasks of maintenance, backing-up, repairs, upgrades, and in the eyes of the PC manufacturers: being obsolete.
NOTE: This type of PC solution is NOT recommended for gaming. This is recommended for the light to medium CPU/Graphics intense applications, and does not support a CD-ROM/DVD drive or CD/DVD burning.
